LightBurn is a software for designing, editing and controlling laser cutting. The Lightburn program communicates directly with the laser without the use of additional software. Currently, most controllers based on Ruida, Trocen, TopWisdom and GCode are supported. Supported GCode controllers include Grbl, Smoothieware, Grbl-LPC, and Marlin. Supported Ruida controllers include RDC6442G/S, RDC6445G, RDC6332G, RDLC-320A, and R5-DSP. Supported Trocen controllers include AWC708C and AWC608 and TL-3120. Other controllers will be added soon to support if your device is not listed. If your controller is based on GCode or Ruida or Trocen or TopWisdom, it’s probably supported even if it’s not listed.
Some features of Lightburn software
The ability to import various artworks with common vector, graphic, and image formats (including AI, PDF, SVG, DXF, PLT, PNG, JPG, GIF, and BMP)
Arrange, edit and even create vector shapes inside the editor with powerful functions such as boolean functions, welding and point editing.
Apply settings such as power, speed, number of passes, cut order, brightness and contrast, softening mode and many other settings.
